Privacy Policy
Last verified · PBZ Wiki
This wiki asks you for no personal information. There are no accounts, no comment system and no newsletter. It does use Google Analytics to measure traffic and a third-party advertising network to display ads, and both set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser. This page explains what each one collects and how to opt out.
Information Collected
Directly from you: nothing. This site has no registration, no login, no comment forms and no newsletter signup. The only interactive feature is an on-page search box, which runs entirely in your browser against a static index file and sends nothing to a server.
Automatically: like any website, the hosting provider records standard server request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and operational purposes. These are not used to build profiles of individual readers.
Through analytics and advertising: the third-party services described below receive technical data about your visit — IP address, browser and device type, referring page, the pages you view on this site and the time you spend on them. That data is processed by those providers under their own privacy policies, and this site never receives your name, email address or any other information that identifies you personally.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-TQS0TJFGQE), a service provided by Google, to understand which pages readers find useful. It sets first-party cookies and records pageviews, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and referral source. The data is aggregated; it is used to decide what to write and update, not to identify individuals.
You can opt out across all sites by installing Google's Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking analytics scripts in your browser or an extension. Details of Google's handling are set out in the Google Privacy Policy.
Advertising
Pages on this site display advertising served by a third-party ad network (effectivecpmnetwork.com). The network and its own advertising partners may set cookies, web beacons or similar identifiers in your browser to select which ads to show, cap how often you see the same ad, and measure clicks. This may include interest-based advertising drawn from your activity on this and other websites.
This wiki does not control which advertisers appear, does not pass any reader data to the network, and does not receive personal information back from it. Ads are labelled as advertising and kept separate from editorial content — nothing on this site is written or changed in exchange for ad revenue.
To limit interest-based ads, use your browser's cookie controls, or the industry opt-out pages at YourAdChoices and Your Online Choices (EU). Blocking these cookies does not stop ads from appearing; it makes them less targeted.
Third-Party Content and Links
Some pages embed video from YouTube. Video embeds load only when you click to play, using YouTube's privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain. Until you click, no request is made to YouTube for playback. Once you play a video, YouTube's own privacy policy applies to that interaction.
Outbound links — including everything in the Official Links group in the footer — lead to sites this wiki does not control, such as S-GAME, Steam, the PlayStation Store and the Epic Games Store. Their privacy policies govern what happens there.
Children, Data Rights and Contact
This site is not directed at children under 13 and knowingly collects no information from them.
This site holds no database of readers, so there is generally nothing here to access, correct or delete. Requests concerning data held by Google or the advertising network are best directed to those providers, whose policies are linked above. If you believe information relating to you appears on this site, or you have a privacy question, use the contact page and it will be addressed.
Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the Last verified date at the top and bottom of this page.
On-Site Search
The search feature on this site loads a static index file and matches your query in your own browser. Queries are never transmitted to a server, never logged, and never stored — there is no search history associated with you because there is nowhere for one to live.
Google Analytics records that you visited the search page, in the same way it records any other pageview, but the text you type into the box is not part of what it sends. If the analytics or advertising providers named above ever change, this page is updated before the change goes live.
